Nutrition science is highly complicated and constantly evolving; how can you separate the hair from the sticky flour?

How can you tell whether someone provides you with scientific references that aren’t cherry-picked or, on the opposite side, methodologically imperfect?

How do you know who to believe?

Some argue that a low carbohydrate diet is superior to a high carbohydrate diet.

Some argue that the problem is not a high carbohydrate diet but a lack of calorie tracking (lazy individuals don’t want to count).

Some argue that calories are meaningless. Because your body reacts to different foods with different hormones, food selection is critical.

Some advice against eating after the evening since a slow metabolism might lead to weight gain.

Some recommend eating every three hours to keep the metabolism up.

Some argue that intermittent fasting is beneficial for weight loss.

Some argue that eating fruit after a meal causes fat storage in the body, eating on an empty stomach causes acidity, and eating in the evening causes sluggish metabolism.
